How to Create and Use PM Rules
A PM (Preventive Maintenance) Rule in Chekhub is a set of predefined conditions and schedules used to automate and streamline the maintenance process for assets. These rules help ensure that maintenance tasks are performed at regular intervals, minimizing the risk of unexpected equipment failures and prolonging the lifespan of assets.- Access the Admin Dashboard:
- Navigate to the Admin Dashboard from the left-side menu.
- Open the Assets Tab:
- Click on the "Assets" tab located in the top menu bar.
- Add a New PM Rule:
- In the PM Rules section, click the "+ADD" button.
- Fill Out the PM Rule Form:
- The only information needed to create a PM rule is a Name. You may choose to include additional details such as Phase, Watchers, Tags, or a Checklist.
- Additional properties or attributes may be added as well as the attachment of any necessary files.
- Set the recurrence time period and the performance window time.
By setting up PM Rules, organizations can ensure consistent and timely maintenance activities, improving overall operational efficiency and asset reliability.
